Farm Skills 101 consists of 51 hours of on-farm education in three weekends of fun and fulfilling learning. These are days in the field, not field days. Participants will need pants, closed-toe shoes, gloves and safety glasses.
The Fall 2014 three class sessions are Oct. 3-4, 10-11 and 17-18. Friday classes run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pack your own sack lunches and breakfasts; a Friday evening local-foods meal is included in tuition.
Friday night housing is available at Faith Haven Camp on beautiful Eagle Lake for a modest fee. Choosing the option with lodging below will reserve your spot at the camp. Free primitive camping is available at farm site.
