Help Give Trafficking Survivors Freedom and Safety
Human trafficking is called "modern-day slavery," with an estimated 27 million children, women, and men around the globe suffering as victims of domestic labor, forced and child labor, and the commercial sex trade. Thousands of those victims exist right here in the United States, enduring physical and sexual abuse and violence at the hands of their traffickers.
Safe Horizon's Anti-Trafficking Program is at the forefront of providing a multi-layered response that helps survivors find support and advocacy. To commemorate January 2011 as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness Month, you can help make a difference for a survivor of modern-day slavery, by giving them the resources and the hope they deserve to regain their lives and their freedom.
Your gift today will help make a crucial difference for victims of human trafficking.
- $50 can help cover 20 calls to our hotlines from trafficking survivors who need critical support.
- $100 can provide a counseling session for a survivor to help them heal from the trauma of trafficking.
- $1,000 can help provide legal services to a trafficking survivor so they find the justice and advocacy they deserve.
Give trafficking survivors the chance to begin their new year with freedom and safety.
