Every year on April 28th, we observe Workers Memorial Day to remember those who have suffered and died on the job, and to renew our efforts for safe and healthy workplaces.
This year, Worksafe invites you to join us and our partners in Concord on Workers Memorial Day as we take our message out into the community, near where workers at BART were killed.
Date: Monday, April 28, 4:30-6:30 pm
Location: Todos Santos Plaza, Concord
Meet at Concord BART at 4:30 pm (1451 Oakland Ave, Concord) and walk together to Todos Santos Plaza (4 blocks)

“Dying at work in California: The hidden stories behind the numbers”
In 2011, we published the first of what has become an annual report on lives lost over the last year in California workplaces. This Workers Memorial Day, Worksafe will release the 4th annual "Dying at work in California" report in remembrance of the family members and friends behind the state’s workplace injury, illness and fatality statistics.
